BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2024, Calum McIlroy is a guitarist, mandolin player, and singer from Aberdeenshire.
Kris Drever originally comes from Hrossey in the Orkney Islands. Over the years, he has taught himself to be a songwriter, guitarist and singer of note (and sometimes many notes).

Easily amongst Scotland’s most renowned and celebrated folk groups, Blazin’ Fiddles formed for a one-off tour of the Scottish Highlands in 1999, and are still raising roofs far and wide in their 25th year on the road.
Rebecca Hill and Charlie Stewart are a harpist and fiddle player who have collaborated previously in numerous settings. Their new material draws from their individual musical backgrounds as well as their love of contemporary arrangements, compositions and improvisation.

RURA are set to return to stages across the UK with their hotly anticipated fourth studio album Dusk Moon, in March 2023.
Having seen his first three albums nominated for an array of awards, including Scottish Album of the Year (in 2014, 2017 and 2018) and the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Adam’s masterful songwriting and enchanting voice has seen him work with the likes of producer John Wood (Nick Drake and John Martyn), Simon Heyworth (mastering engineer and co-producer of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells) and two-time BRIT award winner Eddi Reader.
Session A9 are more than relishing their return to the stage in November. “We can’t wait to get out touring again after all this time and are delighted to finally come and perform at Braemar, after having to cancel our planned tour a couple of years ago. This will be our first tour since lockdowns and I guarantee we will be in great form!”, says fiddle player Charlie Mckerron.
