January 2023: Happy New Year

Happy New Year! 2023 marks a significant milestone in the life of St Margaret’s in Braemar.  It is now ten years since ownership of the building was transferred from the Scottish Episcopal Church to the Scottish Redundant Churches Trust (SRCT) now known as Historic Churches Scotland (HCS).

October 2022: Braemar Folk and Literature Festivals

Well what an amazing few weeks at St Margaret’s! October started with our second Braemar folk festival headlined by “Caledonia” singer Dougie MacLean on the Friday night. Some of Scotland’s most gifted traditional musicians thrilled audiences over the weekend on the stage and in many informal sessions in the pubs.
