February 2023: Adam Holmes

We got our Spring season of live concerts off to a flying start with Edinburgh born, singer-songwriter Adam Holmes captivating a large audience with his enchanting music and his ready wit and large repertoire of stories.  His programme was made up mainly of his own compositions with a few familiar standards thrown in too.  Clearly there were many Adam Holmes followers in the audience but his easy relaxed style will have won him many new friends too.

Next up on Friday 17 March will be violinist, vocalist and composer Seonaid Aitken who brings her Ensemble to Braemar.  Seonaid has twice been awarded the title of Best Vocalist at the Scottish Jazz Awards.

And then on Friday 31 March we welcome much sought after folk band Rura.  That should be a wild night and tickets are already selling fast.
