Braemar Gathering Weekend Event

We welcome back Professor and Royal composer Paul Mealor with the University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir for this popular event following the Braemar Gathering. Mealor's new album with the University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir, Immortal Memory, entered the UK Classical Charts at number 3 at the beginning of this year. Founded by Paul Mealor, Caritas Choir makes its debut concert here in St Margaret’s! Named after Mealor’s composition, ‘Ubi caritas’ written for the Wedding of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, ‘Caritas’ means ‘love’ and the choir, made up of singers associated with Mealor over many years, presents a concert of popular and new choral classics.


They are joined by popular North-East entertainer, Dr Robert Lovie and Scottish singer Fiona Kennedy.
